ICM was established by Siegfried Acker in 1992.
Prior to starting his own business, Siegfried has gained many years of experience in international business, both in the field of product management as well as in sales and marketing.
During his time as sales and marketing manager with renowned German manufacturers, Siegfried Acker has made a name for himself in the Musical Instruments and ProAudio market with the successful introduction and relaunch of world-famous brands, such as or example, Sabian, Vic Firth, Yorkville, Godin, Steinberger, Claim Guitars, Kramer Guitars, Hohner Professional and others on the European market (BeNeLux, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, UK).
Originally conceived as a consulting and marketing Company, ICM specialized in handling the international business activities for manufacturers with focus on development and production of solutions used in
audio post production, broadcast, music-recording, mastering & remastering, acoustical treatment, live sound and musical instruments.
In order for ICM clients to achieve their goal of having their brands established successfully and sustainably on the international markets, ICM clients could source a wide spectrum of tailor-made services, e.g.:
handling of the complete export sales activities, selection of potential distribution partners, acquisition of new customers and distribution partners, market assessments and reports, implementation of factoring concepts, to name only a few.
Moreover, for overseas manufacturers who wished to keep their products available for distribution from central European warehouse, ICM provided full warehousing and shipping services from ICM facilities based in Germany.
